In today’s world, technology plays an increasingly dominant role in all production processes, creating a growing demand for highly trained specialists at every level. No healthcare procedure, for example, can be carried out solely by physicians or nurses—it requires the support of specialized technicians. When we compare the number of technicians per capita in developed countries, it becomes clear that there is a significant need for more trained professionals in our country as well.

Işık University Vocational School was founded with this vision, welcoming qualified students ready to meet the labor force demands of various industries. Since its establishment in 2013, our school has been based on our Maslak city campus, continuously providing high-quality education. As of 2021, all Health Services Vocational School programs were consolidated under our Vocational School, and we now offer 10 diverse programs designed to prepare students for success in their chosen fields.

Mission of the Vocational School: The mission of Işık University Vocational School is to educate qualified professionals who possess vocational knowledge and skills, follow scientific and technological developments, adhere to ethical values, and have a strong sense of social responsibility, through a student-centered and practice-oriented educational approach; and to continuously improve educational processes through collaboration with industry and stakeholders.

Vision of the Vocational School: To become a leading vocational school that adapts to technological developments and changing industry needs, stands out with its innovative and practice-oriented educational approach, embraces a culture of quality, and is recognized and preferred at national and international levels.
