Program Aims
MATHEMATICAL ENGINEERING PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Mathematical Engineering BS Program aims at graduating students who
- choose a career in mathematics-based professions or enroll in mathematics, information technologies, economics, or business graduate programs,
- have a solid background in fundamental notions and principles of mathematics and mechanics, learn independently and develop the ability to engage in analytical thinking and lifelong learning,
- demonstrate the knowledge of basic mathematical techniques for defining and solving problems in various areas such as mechanics and information technologies and gain experience in computer programming,
- have good communication skills and interact with other disciplines effectively both in scientific and oral-written formats,
- work effectively as members of a team, and are aware of ethical and professional responsibilities.
