Program Aims

The Mathematics BS Program aims at graduating students who

1. choose a career in mathematics-based professions or enroll in mathematics, information technologies, economics, or business graduate programs,
2. have a solid background in fundamental notions and principles of mathematics, learn independently and develop the ability to engage in analytical thinking and lifelong learning,
3. demonstrate knowledge of basic mathematical techniques to define and solve problems in various areas such as economics and information technologies,
4. have good communication skills and interact with other disciplines effectively both in scientific and oral-written formats,
5. can work effectively as members of a team, and are aware of ethical and professional responsibilities.
