FACULTY MEMBERS WILL BE RECRUITED!

Işık University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences plans to expand its academic staff extensively in line with its goals of excellence in education and leadership in research. For this purpose, in order to recruit faculty members who have the potential to conduct research at the international level, it is planned to recruit faculty members in different fields and levels within the next year. In this context:

•  In our Mechanical Engineering Department, priority will be given to qualified candidates who specialize or want to specialize in areas related to mechanical and mechatronics engineering, especially control, robotic systems and heat-fluid systems.
• Candidates are expected to hold a PhD degree in relevant fields, have publications in major international journals in their fields, and preferably have experience or potential to conduct projects at national and/or international level. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate innovative approaches to undergraduate and graduate education and the potential to contribute to the continuous improvement of accredited programs in the department. Candidates are also expected to be proficient in teaching in English and preferably have international academic experience.
• Successful candidates will be eligible to start on or after August 2024 and are expected to submit an academic CV, research and teaching statement, and the names and contact details of at least three references. Applications will continue to be accepted until the positions are filled.
