Our School of Foreign Languages aims not only to equip students with the language skills necessary for academic and professional life but also to provide a learning environment that fosters 21st-century competencies such as independent learning, critical thinking, and adaptation to a changing world. Our educational philosophy is based on the view that language skills are not only a means of communication but also a key competence that enables individuals to become effective and productive members of the global community.

Successfully implementing international standards in language education, our School of Foreign Languages has certified this achievement through EAQUALS accreditation. In independent inspections conducted in 2017 and 2022, it met high-quality standards in areas such as teaching and learning, curriculum, educational management, learning resources, and assessment and evaluation. It also stood out for the importance it places on student and staff satisfaction. This success reflects Işık University’s deep-rooted and innovative approach to education.

Our School of Foreign Languages, grounded in the well-established educational philosophy of the Feyziye Schools Foundation, is committed to raising individuals who are loyal to Atatürk’s principles and who possess contemporary, universal, and ethical values. With our dynamic and experienced academic staff, we offer a learning experience that goes beyond language education, enabling our students to become active individuals in academic, social, and professional life.

With its long-standing educational tradition and innovative vision, FMV Işık University School of Foreign Languages continues to stand out through the high-quality education it provides at international standards. With an innovative and human-cantered approach that aims to maximize individuals' potential at every stage of language education, it continues to lay the foundations of academic and professional life.
