Department of Computer Engineering

There are two programs in the department:

• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering

SUNY Brockport Dual Diploma Program is run in collaboration with the State University of New York, Brockport. The students study their first and third years at Işık and the second and the fourth years at Brockport.

The department runs MSc and PhD programs covering the following topics:

• Natural Language Processing
• Data Mining
• Security
• Image Processing
• Computer Vision
• Networks
• Computer Science Education

The department runs dual degree programs with the following programs

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mathematical Engineering
• Mathematic
• Physics

There two minor programs offered by the department:

• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering

The department has a young faculty who is actively involved in diverse research projects funded by goverment and private organizations, such as TUBİTAK and TURKCELL.
