1. What is summer school?
It is an intensive education
program conducted during the summer months.
2. Is summer school compulsory?
It is optional. It is an
education that students who cannot take the course and / or fail for various
reasons during the semester can benefit from.
3. Where can I access summer school
registration dates?
It is included in the Academic

4. Where can I get information
about summer school fees?
To get information about the
fees, please click on the "2023-2024 Academic Year Fee Table" on the web page
of the Department of Financial Affairs. You can also get information by sending
an e-mail to finans@isikun.edu.tr or midb@isikun.edu.tr.
5. Can we take a course from another
university in summer school?
If the course you will take is
not offered at our university, you can take a course as a special student if
you meet the conditions. Please check "Course Registration Directive" on our

Special Student Status
ARTICLE 19 – (1) Registering in
and taking courses at other institutions with special student status can be
realized with the resolution of the University's related administrative board
upon the student's application.
(2) Students that attend other institutions with special student status in fall and spring semesters shall pay the tuition fee to the University.
(3)
Students that attend other institutions with special student status in the fall
and spring semesters shall be subject to the limitations stated in the present
directive.
(4)
Students that attend other institutions with special student status during the
summer period shall pay the tuition fee to the institution where they take the
courses.
(5)
Students can take a maximum of 18 ECTS throughout their academic life from the
courses given in different institutions.
(6)
Students can take a maximum of 18 ECTS in one summer period at the University.
In accordance with the
provisions; you must apply to your academic unit secretariat with a petition,
get approval from the Faculty Executive Board Decision and pay your fee.
Otherwise, summer school education from another university will be invalid.
6. How is it determined which courses
will be offered?
Courses are opened by the
relevant faculties after an academic evaluation and are announced on the web
page.
7. How many courses can I take in
summer education?
You can take a maximum of 18 ECTS
in a summer session with the approval of the academic advisor within the
framework of the legislation.
8. What should I do for an
internship in summer school?
You need to contact the
internship coordinatorship. staj@isikun.edu.tr.
9. Can scholarship students
benefit from summer school?
Except for students who are
entitled to receive the semester achievement grants, each student can benefit
from the summer school at the rate of their entrance scholarship.
10. How do I apply for summer
school?
On the dates announced in the Academic
Calendar, the course fee is paid to finans@isikun.edu.tr, and the course
selection is made from the e-campus information system and sent to the advisor
for approval. The registrations for the courses that do not receive approval
are invalid.
