Master’s Program in Mathematics

The Thesis-Based Master’s Program in Mathematics consists of:

  • A minimum of 21 credit hours of coursework
  • A non-credit seminar course
  • A master’s thesis

Students must complete at least 12 credit hours from graduate-level MATH-coded courses, including 9 required credits from:

  • MATH 511 – Real Analysis
  • MATH 521 – Ordinary Differential Equations
  • MATH 541 – Algebra

Additionally, up to 3 credits may be taken from advanced undergraduate MATH courses. The remaining 9 credit hours can be completed from other graduate programs with advisor approval.

The language of instruction is 100% English.
