Message from the Chair of the Board of Trustees

Dear Students,

Founded in 1996, FMV Işık University is a work of the 139-year-old educational heritage of the Feyziye Schools Foundation. Since its establishment, our university has continuously raised its standards of success, accelerating its efforts toward internationalization and striving to ensure that the knowledge it generates serves society and humanity.

FMV Işık University offers 22 undergraduate programs across three faculties, 10 associate degree programs in one vocational school, and 54 master’s and 6 doctoral programs through its Graduate Education Institute. Additionally, the School of Foreign Languages and the Continuous Education Center provide students with extensive learning opportunities.

Universities are more than just educational institutions: they serve as knowledge hubs that conduct research, drive innovation, and contribute to the development of their cities, regions, and countries. With this awareness and responsibility, FMV Işık University maintains a stable and ever-improving academic performance by conducting international research and development, supporting new scientific talents, and facilitating employment opportunities for researchers.
