Engineering Education at Global Standards
Engineers Who Will Shape the Future
With 11 programs across five departments, the FMV Işık University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences currently educates nearly 2,000 students. Our academic programs are designed to swiftly adapt to the needs of the industry and the rapid transformation of technology. They are systematically updated with a continuous improvement approach.
As a testament to this commitment, all our Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, and Software Engineering programs have been accredited by MÜDEK for the maximum period of five years. Graduates of these MÜDEK-accredited programs receive internationally recognized diplomas. The dynamism and commitment to quality in education at our faculty are rooted in the 140-year educational heritage of our founding institution, the Feyziye Schools Foundation.
Our academic staff not only teach knowledge but also contribute to its production. Our faculty members are renowned scholars at both national and international levels, recognized for their research and publications. They also collaborate with industry on joint projects, transforming these industry partnerships into valuable internship experiences for our students. Senior-year projects are designed and executed in alignment with real industry needs.
All active programs are conducted in English, ensuring that graduates enter the workforce with strong English proficiency.
We aim to educate engineers who will not only follow rapid technological advancements but also lead and shape them-engineers who will tackle society’s, the environment’s, and the world's critical challenges.
