The Sector Internship aims to help students of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, Department of Visual Communication Design, become familiar with the work environments and operational structures in the industry during their studies. It also aims to provide knowledge about the workflow and application techniques of communication design and to help students gain expertise in their chosen fields.
The total duration of the internships must not be less than 40 working days. Internships are divided into two parts and take place after the completion of the second academic year, following this order and content:
1. GITA 3911 - Sector Internship I
2. GITA 4911 - Sector Internship II
Internships are usually conducted during academic breaks and can be completed separately or as a continuous 40-day internship.
Students in their final year who are available at least three full working days per week may complete their internships during the academic year or summer school.
Conducting multiple internships at the same company requires approval from the Internship Committee.
Students are responsible for finding their own internship placements.
At least 15 days before the start date of a mandatory/voluntary internship, students must email the following scanned documents to their assigned internship advisor and submit all approved documents to the relevant Faculty/Vocational
School Department Secretariat:
