ARCH304T – Environmental and Zoning Law

This course introduces students to urban planning processes and legal regulations at both urban and architectural scales. It provides an understanding of urban space elements, urban texture analysis, and problem identification in selected case study areas, including historical and other urban environments. Students develop skills in analyzing urban structures, prioritizing design considerations, synthesizing findings, and generating alternative proposals. The course involves group work for the analysis phase, while solution proposals are developed individually.
