Call for Applications: 2023 Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Mobility
Applications are only open to students of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture.
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are short, intensive educational programs that use innovative teaching and learning methods, including online collaboration. BIPs enable higher education institutions to collectively develop academic and administrative staff and student learning programs, integrating innovative digital tools. Activities within BIPs include both physical mobility (lasting between 5-30 days) and a mandatory virtual component.
This Blended Intensive Programme is coordinated by FMV Işık University, Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, Department of Architecture and will take place at Reggio Calabria University, Italy, from May 5-9, 2025.
It aims to raise awareness of climate change and develop sustainable solutions by exploring biophilic design principles in harmony with nature and expanding climate-related communication strategies through seminars. The program will also include various social and cultural activities.
Students whose transcript is not yet available during the application process;
Note: EXIT Exam results obtained from Işık University are valid for 4 years.
Criteria and weighted scores to be used in evaluating applications:
Students will receive financial aid to cover additional expenses incurred while staying abroad. However, these grants are not meant to cover all costs, only to provide financial support.
Green Travel Support refers to travel conducted using low-carbon emission public transportation methods such as buses, trains, and carpooling. To be eligible for Green Travel Support, participants must use green travel methods for both the outbound and return journeys, and more than half of the total travel distance must be completed using these environmentally friendly transportation options.
Erasmus+ promotes the participation of people with special needs in the programme. People whose physical, mental or health-related conditions are such that their participation in Erasmus+ would not be possible without extra financial support are potential participants.
Students must submit their request including the report for Erasmus+ Additional Grant to the Erasmus+ Office (For instance, if they request an Additional Grant Support due to a disability, they must attach the medical report (the report must be issued within 3 months before the application) which includes the necessary information about the disability and the level of the disability, or a copy of their disability ID card. A medical report is also required for those with chronic diseases.)
Once found eligible, students must attach the necessary documents (including that the receiving higher education institution is informed of the guest student/staff member is a participant with special needs and the institution’s undertaking that it has the necessary equipment to host the participant with special needs) to the form. The additional grant amounts and the grounds for such request must be explained in detail in the form as requested.
The documents required in the relevant article must be uploaded to the application system. Documents submitted after the application will not be evaluated
