2023-2024 Academic Year Opening Ceremon

The opening procession, filled with joy and excitement, was accompanied by a marching band and continued up to the Atatürk bust. Wreaths prepared on behalf of the Rectorate, Board of Trustees, and Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation were laid by Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, Board of Trustees President Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Honorary Board Member Dr. Said Akçura, Board Member Arzu Akçura, and Board Secretary General Zeynep Sezerman.

The 2023-2024 Academic Year Opening Ceremony commenced with speeches delivered by Student Council Vice President Salih Kalafat, Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, Board of Trustees President Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, and Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Board Chairman Av. A. Akın Süel.

Our distinguished guest, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı, delivered the opening lecture. Following his insightful presentation, Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman presented him with a copy of "Journeys Across Roman Asia Minor", signed by its authors Don McCullin and Barnaby Rogerson.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, an Orientation Program was held for newly enrolled students, where unit managers provided informative presentations.
