Risk Assessment of Buildings in Şile to Be Conducted

At a meeting attended by Şile Municipality Deputy Mayor Yasin Çakır, Director of Zoning and Urban Planning Seda Ayvalıoğlu, Director of Planning and Projects Ercan Yıldızer, Head of Building Control and Occupancy Oruç Melik Serilmez, and personnel from the Building Control and Occupancy Department, a collaboration was established with our university, which has received authorization from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to inspect risky buildings.

Initially focusing on public buildings, the project will also offer risk assessments for residents who have concerns about the safety of their own buildings. Unhealthy structures within the existing building stock will be identified, reported, and the findings will be communicated to applicants.
