As part of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility program, Prof. Dr. Dalia Marija Stančienė from Klaipėda University, Lithuania, visited the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Department of Human and Social Sciences, and delivered a seminar.
Prof. Dr. Stančienė began her talk by posing fundamental questions about her philosophy of life and then explored the opportunities and risks that genetic engineering presents to human life through bioethical approaches. The seminar also covered discussions on the limits of genetic interventions and current research on genetically modified organisms.
