Welcoming the 2024-2025 Academic Year with Enthusiasm!

The 2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony was held on September 23, 2024, at the Şile Campus. The academic procession began at the campus entrance, marching towards the Atatürk Monument, where wreaths were laid on behalf of the Rectorate, Board of Trustees, and Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation (FMV). A welcome reception was organized in front of the sports hall, where faculty members and new students gathered. During the opening speeches in the hall, the Rector, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, and the FMV Board Chair addressed students and faculty members.

During the ceremony, doctoral graduates of the 2023-2024 academic year were presented with their academic robes, and master's graduates were congratulated. Additionally, graduates who ranked first in their faculties and schools received achievement plaques. The ceremony concluded with faculty deans delivering the opening lecture.

On September 24, 2024, the 2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony was also held at the Maslak Campus, home to the Vocational School and the Graduate School of Education. Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, Board of Trustees President Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, Vice President Necdet Şenkal, FMV Board Secretary General Zeynep Sezerman, and Honorary Board Member M.Sc. Eng.
Altan Gökçek joined faculty members, staff, and students in walking to the Atatürk Monument to lay a wreath.

Following a cocktail reception at Galeri Işık, the opening speeches took place in the conference hall. After addresses by Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Yiğit Şerif Karabulut and Graduate School of Education Director & Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Volkan Günay, the ceremony concluded with speeches from the Rector and the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

At both campuses, new students participated in the Orientation Program, where unit managers provided informative presentations to help them transition smoothly into university life.
