Announcements regarding applications are sent to students via email by the Dormitory Management and published on the Işık University website. Dormitory applications are submitted online at http://yurtkayit.isikun.edu.tr/.
Only students enrolled at Işık University can apply for dormitory accommodation.
Yes, you can request to stay with a specific roommate by providing their student number during your application. However, this request is subject to availability and placement priorities. Your friend must also submit the same request, and both of you should have matching preferences for it to be considered.
Application results are updated in the application system and are also sent to students via their university email addresses.
The Dormitory Management will inform students via email about the move-in dates. These dates will also be published on the dormitory application page.
To complete the move-in process, students must submit the required documents and proof of dormitory & deposit payments in full. If any documents are missing, the student will not be allowed to move in.
The final move-out date for each term will be communicated through announcements at the end of the semester.
Students may request a room change once per semester, within the first month after the semester begins. Requests must be submitted to the Dormitory Management, and they will be processed based on availability.
Before leaving, students must clear their room, visit the Dormitory Management Office, sign the required check-out documents, and return their room key.
If you leave without completing check-out, any personal belongings left behind will be considered waste, and the key replacement fee will be deducted from your deposit.
If you lose your room key, inform the dormitory office immediately and pay the replacement fee, as determined by management.
You can pay your dormitory fees via bank transfer to the designated account or online with a credit card. Students who wish to pay in installments can use partner bank credit cards as specified in the dormitory fee table.

You only need to bring your personal belongings, such as:

✔ Toiletries (shampoo, soap, towel, slippers, toilet paper, detergent, etc.)
Since common areas are accessible 24/7, students are responsible for their own belongings. The dormitory is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
No, posting notices, posters, or decorations in dormitory areas is not permitted.
No, students are not allowed to host guests overnight in their dorm rooms, including family members. However, first-degree relatives (parents and siblings) can request to stay in the Guesthouse, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Yes, students who are suspended or take a leave of absence are not allowed to stay in the dormitory.
No, there are no staff available to assist with moving belongings. Each student is responsible for carrying their own items.

No, students who stay in the dormitory during the Fall Semester do not need to reapply for the Spring Semester.
Yes, after completing the room handover and damage inspection, you must fill out and sign a form, which should be submitted to the dormitory office.
If you are staying for the Spring Semester, you do not need to empty your room during the semester break. However, since detailed cleaning will be performed, you must store your personal belongings in your wardrobe and lock it.
Students can stay in the dormitory during summer for the following reasons:
✔ Attending summer school
✔ Internship programs
✔ Participating in university-related special projects
For internships and special projects, students must obtain faculty approval. Application dates and procedures for summer accommodation will be announced via email.
Students who violate the Dormitory Regulations will be subject to warnings and disciplinary actions by the Dormitory Disciplinary Committee. Repeated violations may result in permanent expulsion from the dormitories, and the student may be denied future dormitory accommodation.
