English Placement and Proficiency Exams for International and Transfer Students

The English Placement and Proficiency Exams will be administered on the dates listed below. Please review the exam dates, times, and formats carefully.

Monday, 10 February 2025
Placement Exam

• Format: Face to Face

• Location: SFL Building, Room 109

• Time: 10:00 AM

Students who score 70 or above on the Placement Exam will be eligible to take the Proficiency Exam on 11 and 12 February 2025.

Tuesday, 11 February 2025
Proficiency Exam – Part 1 (Written)

• Format: Face to Face

• Location: SFL Building, Room 109

• Time: 10:00 AM

Wednesday, 12 February 2025
Proficiency Exam – Part 2 (Oral)

• Format: Online

• Platform: MS Teams

• Time: The oral exam schedule and MS Teams link will be sent to students’ Işık email addresses on the afternoon of 11 February. (The oral exam will last approximately 10 minutes.)

Note: Please make sure to be present at the exam venue or online platform before the scheduled time.
