English Placement and Proficiency Exams for International Students and Transfer Students

The English Placement and Proficiency Exams will be held on the dates listed below. Please review the exam dates, times, and formats carefully.

Monday, February 10, 2025
Placement Exam

• Format: Face to Face
• Location: SFL Building, Room 109
• Time: 10:00 AM

Students who score 70 or above on the Placement Exam are eligible to take the Proficiency Exam on February 11 and 12, 2025.

Tuesday, February 11, 2025
Proficiency Exam – Part 1 (Written)

• Format: Face to Face
• Location: SFL Building, Room 109
• Time: 10:00 AM

Wednesday, February 12, 2025
Proficiency Exam – Part 2 (Oral)

• Format: Online
• Platform: MS Teams
• Time: The schedule and MS Teams link for the oral exam will be sent to students’ Işık email addresses on the afternoon of February 11. (The oral exam will take approximately 10 minutes.)

Note: You must be present at the exam location or online platform before the scheduled time.
