Students will develop professional-level projects across different media by utilizing the elements and principles of motion graphic design. By understanding the disciplinary differences, advantages, and disadvantages between print and digital media, they will create motion design works suitable for specific purposes and target audiences. The course covers the use of fundamental elements such as typography, grids, composition, color, arrangement of moving elements, sound, movement, and timing for dynamic media. By learning current advertising and communication strategies, students will design national and global campaigns for brands, products, services, or events.
