Peer Mentorship Program

Program Objective:

The program aims to facilitate the adaptation and integration of new faculty/institute students into university life and academics, primarily through the support of peer mentors (academic buddies).

  •    Program Coordinator: Student Dean’s Office

Objective for Students:

Peer mentors, who are selected on a voluntary basis and receive the necessary training, are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students. Their role is to:

  • Help new students adjust to university life and their academic environment.
  • Answer questions from new students based on their own experiences and competencies.
  • Organize activities and events with students both on and off campus.
Purpose of ACADEMIC Buddy Program:

This program is aimed to improve the adaptation and the quality of university and academic life for the students who have just started the university by their Academic Buddies.

Purpose of ACADEMIC Buddy Students:

Our Academic Buddies, who are 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students, who are chosen on a voluntary basis and who receive the necessary training, take part in ensuring the adaptation of our new faculty/institute students to university life, answering the questions posed by our students in line with their competencies, and organizing activities with the students inside or outside the campus.
