E-Signature Application and Installation

An electronic signature (e-signature) functions similarly to a handwritten signature and enables official transactions to be conducted digitally. This helps save time and paper while ensuring that all documents are archived electronically.

E-signatures can be used for:

  • Transactions with public institutions
  • Banking and insurance processes
  • E-government, e-business, and e-commerce applications
  • Official emails and legally recognized digital transactions


E-Signature Application Process

The e-signature application process at Işık University follows the workflow outlined in the application flowchart.

To obtain an e-signature certificate, personnel must complete and sign all pages of the E-Signature Application Form and submit it to the Information Technologies Directorate.

E-Signature Installation

Once you receive your e-signature, you need to install the necessary software on your computer to activate it.
