Işık University YETKİM (Single Sign-On) System Information
Işık University has adopted the Single Sign-On (SSO) system to provide secure and seamless access for its academic and research community. This system utilizes the eduGAIN infrastructure, which enables smooth access to global academic networks and web services.
eduGAIN is a global identity federation used by many academic and research institutions worldwide. Işık University is one of the institutions in Turkey integrated into this infrastructure and is connected to the eduGAIN network via the YETKİM identity federation.
Işık University Institutional Identity Server
Our Institutional Identity Server operates similarly to well-known identity authentication systems such as Google, Facebook, and Apple. With this system, you can access many academic services using your university digital identity, including:
User Credentials and Password Management
For Staff Members:
• Username: Your Işık University email username (e.g., if your email is name.surname@isikun.edu.tr, your username is name.surname)
• Password: Your email password
• Password Reset: If you forget your password, you can reset it [here]
For Students:
• Username: Your Işık University student username (e.g., if your email is 20AAAA11111@isik.edu.tr, your username is 20AAAA1111)
• Password: Your student email password
• Password Reset: If you forget your password, you can reset it [here].
