The faculty members of our department have obtained their doctoral degrees from leading universities in Turkey and around the world. They are internationally recognized academics who conduct research and publish at a global level in their respective fields.

Our faculty's philosophy views research and education not as separate domains but as integral parts of a unified process. Therefore, students in both our undergraduate and graduate programs develop not only professional knowledge but also critical inquiry and research skills.

In line with FMV Işık University’s education philosophy, which emphasizes creativity, our faculty offers students the opportunity to take a variety of elective courses in addition to the required core courses. This allows students to shape their education according to their interests and gain multidisciplinary academic experience. Additionally, our students have the opportunity to pursue double major and minor programs, with a special emphasis on encouraging them to obtain minor certificates.

As with all faculties and departments at Işık University, the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences aims to educate students as hardworking individuals who uphold Atatürk’s principles, maintain a secular and contemporary identity, and adhere to academic and ethical values, preparing them to contribute to both Turkey and the world.
