Electronics Engineering M.S. Program

Master’s Program in Electronic Engineering


The Master’s Program in Electronic Engineering can be completed as either a thesis-based or non-thesis program.

Thesis-Based Program

The coursework consists of:

  • A minimum of 21 credit hours
  • A non-credit seminar course
  • A master’s thesis

Students must complete at least 12 credit hours from graduate-level EE-coded courses, of which 6 credits may come from advanced undergraduate EE courses. The remaining 9 credit hours can be completed from other graduate programs.

Non-Thesis Program

The coursework consists of:

  • A minimum of 30 credit hours
  • A master’s project

Students must complete at least 15 credit hours from graduate-level EE-coded courses, of which 9 credits may come from advanced undergraduate EE courses. The remaining 15 credit hours can be completed from other graduate programs. Advisor approval is required for course selection.
