The Faculty of Engineering at Işık University, including the Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs, has been accredited for a period of five years, until September 30, 2021, by the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK), the sole authorized body for accreditation of engineering programs in Turkey. After a sufficient number of graduates have been produced, the same application will be made for other undergraduate programs conducted within the faculty.
This accreditation by MÜDEK represents the compliance of our educational programs with national quality standards and assures quality control. For graduates of the accredited programs, in addition to the right to obtain the "EUR-ACE Label" from the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education, equivalency will be ensured for all countries that are members of the Washington Accord (United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and other European member countries).
