Diploma and Graduation

Graduation
Students who fulfill the graduation requirements of their enrolled programs become eligible to receive their diplomas following the decisions of the relevant Academic Units' Executive Boards.

All graduation, diploma, and related document procedures are carried out in accordance with the FMV Işık University Directive on the Issuance of Diplomas and Other Educational Documents.

Finalization of Graduation
Students are evaluated based on their graduation requirements, and those who complete their requirements by the final grade entry deadline announced in the academic calendar are identified by the Student Affairs Directorate (ÖİDB).

Graduation is finalized by the decision of the Institute/Faculty/Vocational School Executive Board, to which the students are affiliated. Once finalized, the Student Affairs Directorate initiates the graduation process for the student.
