2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER COURSE REGISTRATION

  • Course registration for students enrolled in Associate, Undergraduate, and Graduate programs at our university for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester will be conducted through the E-Campus system based on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar and detailed below.

Course registration will open on September 16, 2024, at 09:00 AM for all students and will close on September 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Fall semester classes will begin on September 23, 2024.

For students enrolling in our university for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, course schedules will be automatically assigned by their respective academic departments.
Exception:
   • Students transitioning from the Preparatory Program to their main program at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, provided they have no financial restrictions, will also have their course schedules automatically assigned by the system. These students should follow their schedules via the E-Campus system.

  • September 16, 2024 (Monday),
    4th-year undergraduate, 2nd-year associate degree, and graduate students
  • September 17, 2024 (Tuesday),
    3rd-year undergraduate, 1st-year associate degree, and graduate students
  • September 18, 2024 (Wednesday),
    2nd-year undergraduate, all associate degree, and graduate students
  • September 19, 2024 (Thursday),
    1st-year undergraduate, all associate degree, and graduate students
  • September 30 - October 4, 2024 (Monday-Friday)
    Online course add/drop and late registration period for all students

The normal credit load per semester is 30 ECTS credits.

  • 1st-year students cannot exceed the normal credit load.
  • Students with a GPA below 2.49 can take up to 31 ECTS credits per semester.
  • Students with a GPA between 2.50 and 3.49 can take up to 37 ECTS credits per semester.
  • Students with a GPA of 3.50 or higher can take up to 43 ECTS credits per semester.
  • Double Major (ÇAP) students can take up to 45 ECTS credits per semester.
  • Minor (YAP) students can take up to 37 ECTS credits, but those with a GPA of 3.50 or higher may be eligible for higher credits under Article 14-(5).
     

Double Major (ÇAP) and Minor (YAP) students can only exceed credit limits for courses within their respective programs.
 

  • Undergraduate and Associate Degree Students:
           ◦ Courses with an "F" grade must be repeated in the first available semester.
           ◦ If a student is unable to retake all failed courses due to other restrictions, priority is given to lower-level courses.
           ◦ Courses with "DD" or "DC" grades may be repeated at any time.
           ◦ Courses with a grade of "CC" or higher cannot be repeated.
  • Graduate Students:
           ◦ Master's students cannot retake courses with a grade of CB or higher.
           ◦ PhD students cannot retake courses with a grade of BB or higher.
    Graduate students should consult their academic advisors for course selection.

COURSE SCHEDULE CONFLICT

  • Students must register for courses without creating schedule conflicts.
  • In exceptional cases, only two courses may have up to one hour of schedule overlap.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to meet attendance requirements in overlapping courses.

COURSE ENROLLMENT LIMITS

  • The maximum number of students per course section is determined by the academic department offering the course.
  • If a course is full, students need approval from both their academic advisor and the course instructor to enroll.

  • Students must follow the course sequence in their program without skipping semesters.
  • If a required course is not offered in a semester, students may take courses from higher semesters with advisor approval.
    📌 Reference: (Article 17)

  • Students who have completed their program requirements except for 15 ECTS credits or fewer pay per credit hour instead of the full tuition fee.
  • If a student is unable to register for more than 15 ECTS credits due to course availability or prerequisites, they also pay per credit hour.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Financial Affairs Department:

Students with financial restrictions must first contact the Financial Affairs

Department at finance@isikun.edu.tr for fee payments.

The Student Affairs Office has no authority over financial matters.

  • The Financial Affairs Department will verify payments, and students can register only after their system access is approved.

OTHER COURSE REGISTRATION NOTES

  • Quota Manager:
           ◦ The Quota Manager is assigned by academic departments and is responsible for managing course quotas.
           ◦ Students can request quota increases directly from the Quota Manager via E-Campus.
  • Advisor and Quota Manager Contact:
           ◦ During course registration, students should communicate with their academic advisor, assigned by their department.
           ◦ Advisor details are available in the Student Information System (E-Campus).

INACTIVE STUDENT STATUS

  • Students who do not complete course registration or have unpaid financial obligations will be classified as "Inactive Students" under YÖK regulations.
  • Inactive students cannot request official documents from e-Government or the university.
  • Inactive students lose their student rights.
