DGS REGISTRATIONS

2024 DGS REGISTRATIONS
Dear Students,
2024 DGS registrations at our university can be completed via "e-Government," "online," or "physical" methods based on your preference.
Electronic registration via e-Government will take place between October 2-7, 2024 (until 11:59 PM on October 7, 2024), while physical registrations will be conducted between October 2-9, 2024. All newly admitted students can complete their registration electronically. e-Government registration is optional.
Students who prefer can visit our campuses for in-person physical registration.

REGISTRATION STEPS

  1. Decide on the registration method: Online? Through e-Government? Physical?
  2. Scan or take a photo of your registration documents and send them to 2024kayit@isikun.edu.tr, including your Turkish ID number and full name. Registration cannot be completed if the documents are not submitted.
  3. Complete your financial obligations (if you are not a fully funded scholarship student).
  4. Finalize the registration process.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION (TO BE SENT VIA EMAIL)

  • e-Government Barcode Registration Document
  • DGS Exam Result Document (Internet Printout)
  • DGS Placement Result Document (Internet Printout)
  • Original Associate Degree Diploma or Graduation Certificate (and its photocopy; the original will be returned after verification)
  • Course Descriptions (Only for completed courses)
  • Approved Transcript
  • Three (3) passport-sized photos (4.5 cm x 6 cm, taken within the last six months)
  • Front and back photocopy of Turkish ID Card
  • Military Status Document (for students over 29 years old)

REGISTRATION FOR FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS WITH NO FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

  • Students can log in to the e-Government system using their e-Government password, select the Işık University registration area, and follow the registration steps.
  • Fully funded students who complete their registration via e-Government must print and keep the "Electronic Registration Certificate" as proof of their completed registration.
  • This document must be retained by the student and sent along with other registration documents via email.
  • Finalized registrations will be updated in our Student Information System within one day.
  • Students must also submit their YKS registration documents by scanning and sending them to 2024kayit@isikun.edu.tr.

REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS (50%-25% SCHOLARSHIP OR NON-SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS)

Before registering via e-Government, students must first fulfill their financial obligations (except for fully funded scholarship students).

   • After completing the payment, students can proceed with e-Government registration the next day.
   • For fully completed registration, students must scan and send their YKS registration documents to 2024kayit@isikun.edu.tr.


STUDENTS WHO CANNOT REGISTER VIA e-GOVERNMENT DUE TO UNAVAILABLE ASSOCIATE DEGREE GRADUATION DATA

  • Students must complete in-person registration at their respective campus between October 2-9, 2024.
  • Before arriving on campus, students must complete their payment using one of the following methods: 
           ◦ Online payment
           ◦ EFT/Wire Transfer (Details provided above)
           ◦ Payment at Yapı Kredi Bank branches in Şile or Maslak campuses
    To avoid any registration issues, students are advised to complete their payment before arriving at the campus.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FINAL REGISTRATION

  • DGS Exam Result Document (Internet Printout)
  • DGS Placement Result Document (Internet Printout)
  • Original Associate Degree Diploma or Graduation Certificate (and its photocopy; original will be returned after verification)
  • Course Descriptions (Only for completed courses)
  • Approved Transcript
  • Three (3) passport-sized photos (4.5 cm x 6 cm, taken within the last six months)
  • Front and back photocopy of Turkish ID Card
  • Military Status Document (for students over 29 years old)
    Students who register electronically must also send their final registration documents to 2023kayit@isikun.edu.tr and submit the original copies to the Student Affairs Office at Şile or Maslak campuses by the beginning of the spring semester.

Students registering via e-Government must print and keep their "Electronic Registration Certificate" as proof of registration.

DORMITORY APPLICATIONS
Dormitory applications are submitted via the university’s official website.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY AND PLACEMENT EXAMS FOR DGS STUDENTS

Students who register through DGS and enroll in English-medium programs, or those who wish to attend the optional English Preparatory School, must take a two-stage placement and proficiency exam.
