DGS ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Students,

The 2023 DGS Additional Registrations at our university can be completed online or in person, depending on your preference.

  • Electronic registration via e-Government (e-Devlet) will be available from October 13 to October 16, 2023.
  • In-person registrations will take place from October 13 to October 19, 2023.
  • e-Government registration is optional and not mandatory.
  • Students who prefer can visit our campuses to complete their registration in person.


REGISTRATION FOR FULL SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS WITHOUT FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS (E-DEVLET REGISTRATION)

  • Fully funded scholarship students can log in to the e-Government system using their e-Government credentials, select the Işık University registration section, and follow the registration steps.
  • After completing the e-Government registration, fully funded students must print out the "Electronic Registration Certificate" as proof of registration. This document must be kept by the student and sent along with other required registration documents to the designated email group.
  • Electronic registrations will be finalized in the Student Information System within one day.
  • Students must email their DGS registration documents to 2023kayitevrak@isikun.edu.tr for finalization.

Documents to be sent via email:

  • DGS Additional Exam Result Document (Internet Printout)
  • Original and photocopy of Associate Degree Diploma or Graduation Certificate (The original will be reviewed, and the photocopy will be retained.)
  • Course Descriptions (Must be submitted at the time of registration.)
  • Transcript (Certified Copy)
  • Three (3) passport-sized photos (4.5 cm x 6 cm, taken within the last six months)
  • Photocopy of both sides of the ID card

REGISTRATION STEPS

  1. Decide on the registration method: Online, via e-Government, or in person?
  2. Scan or take a photo of the required documents and send them to 2023kayitevrak@isikun.edu.tr, including your ID number and full name in the email. Registrations cannot be completed without submitting the required documents.
  3. Complete your financial obligations (if you are not a fully funded scholarship student).
  4. Finalize your registration.

REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

  • Before registering via e-Government, students (except fully funded scholarship students) must first complete their financial obligations.
  • Tuition fees can be paid via online payment or EFT/wire transfer.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY AND PLACEMENT EXAMS

For students admitted to English-medium programs or those who wish to enroll in the optional English Preparatory School, the placement and proficiency exams will be held as follows:

October 23, 2023 – English Placement Exam
SFL Building, Face-to-face, 9:00 AM (Duration: 75 minutes)
October 23, 2023 – Proficiency/Exemption Exam (For students who pass the Placement Exam)
SFL Building, Face-to-face, 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Written Sections)
October 24, 2023 – Speaking Exam
SFL Building, Face-to-face, 2:00 PM

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!!

  • Students who complete electronic registration must send their final registration documents to 2023kayitevrak@isikun.edu.tr and submit the original documents to the Student Affairs Office at their respective campus (Şile/Maslak) by the beginning of the spring semester.
  • Students who complete e-Government registration must print and keep their "Electronic Registration Certificate."

FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO CANNOT REGISTER VIA E-GOVERNMENT (E-DEVLET)

(Due to the absence of associate degree graduation records in the e-Government system)

  • These students must schedule an appointment and complete their registration in person between October 13-19, 2023, at the campus where they will study.
  • Before arriving for registration, students must complete their payment using one of the following options:
